The “newborn napper” feature is what sold me. I was trying to decide between a pack n play and a bassinet, so when I saw that Graco had combined the two, I knew I found the right product. The “napper” is a great height for having the baby sleep alongside our bed. With practice, I’m able to reach my daughter in the middle of the night without even getting out of bed. The diaper stacker and wipes holder is just the right sized for a stack of diapers and a pack of wipes. I didn’t put it together so I can’t comment on the assembly. It has the two wheels, so I’m able to move it around pretty easily. Even if the napper feature is only used occasionally, I think this is a pretty useful product for the price. Keep in mind that although the weight limit for the napper isn’t that low, its still a bassinet and baby will probably outgrow it quickly.

When I first saw the added features of a bassinet and changing table, I thought that this pack n play was perfect. We kept this product in our family room when my daughter was a newborn. It made it much easier to be able to change her diaper and put her to sleep without having to walk to the other side of the house. But there was one problem. The changing table, though a great idea, did not work from the day we brought her home. When I placed her on the changing table, it would lean to the side and she would go rolling. She was by no means a heavy baby (7 lbs 2 oz), so this was not the issue. It was just bad design. The changing table is only attached to the pack n play on one side. After trying to make it work for about a week, we just detached the changing table and used the plastic cover on the pack n play surface to change her diaper. On the other hand, the bassinet was amazing. She slept very well in it and it had the added bonus of vibrating and having white noise that could play while she slept. Though I did not like that the white noise was on a timer and would turn off. Overall, I liked the convenience of being able to stay in our family room to do pretty much everything that she needed, but I think they need to refine their design a little.

I am pregnant with my fourth child and have used a few different play yards from a couple of different manufacturers. I needed a new one for my upcoming arrival to keep downstairs in the living room. I was initially attracted to this particular pack ‘n play because of the newborn napper. I am quite impressed! Putting the entire thing together was very easy and it took about 10 minutes from start to finish (I’m sure having previous experience with pack ‘n plays helped- I only had to figure out how to assemble the changing station and newborn napper). The construction is sturdy and durable. I think the newborn napper is an excellent idea. It will cradle the baby perfectly and looks very comfortable! I’m expecting to get about 3 months use out of the napper, as it is truly meant for a newborn who is not yet able to roll over. The Broadstreet print is, in my opinion, gender neutral as it is an aqua color with brown and off white. Some may prefer it for boys, but I think the colors work well for a girl(so long as you’re not looking for a “girly” style). I am very happy with this pack ‘n play and I’m looking forward to using it. It is definitely the best pack ‘n play for the money.
